We’re keeping things focused as we build what’s next—Book Three (Venus Rising), select extras, and our solo work. Earlier collaboration-era posts remain available in the archives.
KR Brorman
KR Brorman is an award-winning author of romance and romantic thrillers rooted in grit, grace, and the rugged beauty of the Texas High Plains. Her novel Secrets & Smoke, currently on submission, was named the 2024 Unpublished Romance Winner by the Oklahoma Romance Writers Guild. She is also the co-author of Eden’s Fall (2017), winner of the 2018 American Fiction Award for Mystery/Thriller-Romance, and Winter’s Thaw (2019), a Best Book Awards finalist.
As one-third of the creative team behind the Stilettos, Stoli & Scribbles series, KR’s long-running collaboration with CC Cedras is grounded in trust, banter, and a shared love of layered storytelling. Her work reflects the fingerprints of beloved authors across genres—shaping her voice with a blend of tension, tenderness, and truth.
A founding force behind the New Frontiers in Writing Conference and longtime board member of Texas High Plains Writers, KR champions both craft and community. She writes from a family farm along Route 66 where dogs, monarch butterflies, and the occasional bear (fictional or otherwise) inspire her every day.
CC Cedras
CC Cedras is the co-author of the Stilettos, Stoli and Scribbles series of contemporary romantic suspense novels, writing alongside KR Brorman. Together, they penned Eden’s Fall (2017), winner of the 2018 American Fiction Award for Mystery/Thriller-Romance, and Winter’s Thaw (2019), a Best Book Awards finalist.
A mostly-retired attorney, CC was privileged to travel the world before settling in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with her late husband, whose humor, curiosity, strength, character, and undeniable sexiness continue to breathe life into every male protagonist she creates. These days, CC shares her mountain home with Fiona and Archie, two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who have mastered the art of softening life’s rough edges—one warm cuddle at a time.
When she’s not crafting stories of danger, desire, and redemption with KR, CC can be found sipping something stronger than coffee and plotting the next twist in the SSS universe.
