There is a funny, and somewhat coarse, story* behind that headline and those of you close to me know where I might be going with it…but not this time.
A long, brutal Winter has plagued most of us in North America, and even with Spring trying to make an entrance, it just wouldn’t stay down. I read this story this morning and it made me happy. It also reminded me of what Spring is really all about: new life, renewal and resilience. And hope.
I always love reading Sarah York’s Reflections on the Journey, rare blogging jewels that they are, and on this bright, SUNNY, mild Spring morning I wanted to share her (and Chickadee and Wren) with you. I wish you a warm, soft, renewing Spring day.
*With grateful credit given to K.R. Brorman’s dad for his rancher’s wisdom that she has passed along to us. Anyone who isn’t familiar with this pearl who would like to know more, please just put it in the comments and we’ll “share”. π

Thank you, once again, for sharing Sarah York with us. This post resonated for a few reasons, not least of which is a reminder of why “hope springs eternal” is an oft-repeated maxim. Plus…GOATS! π

I have saved a link to her blog. I look forward to reading more for many, many reasons. Thank you for sharing that Spring is such a time for hope, as Sheri said. Blessings to all.
